Few secrets revealed:

From where do you get your inspiration?

I'm more of an introvert who loves to delve into the complexities of people's emotions, reactions, and feelings. There are stories, characters, and events everywhere if we observe. Even the briefest of encounters can spark the inspiration for a novel. For example overhearing a stranger talking on the phone, saying: "I received a package in the mail, and I don't know who it's from. Inside, there was a note that said 'You shouldn't have looked'".

Do you set writing deadlines, word count goals?

Absolutely not, the writing either comes naturally or, if I'm experiencing writer's block, I don't fight it.
A cup of coffee is my writing secret. I cannot write without a cup of coffee next to me, even though I frequently forget to drink it. Because when I get into the "writing trance," I step into another world, another space and time.
Thank heavens for the patience of my hubby.

What does 'Sankofa' mean?

'Sankofa' is an ethnic African symbol from Ghana, translated as ‘Go-back-and-fetch-it’.
The intricate heart shape symbol plays a significant role in Imprinted Curse novel and its important meaning is revealed at the end...

What's your favourite song?

All songs from Phantom Of The Opera, without a doubt. I'm obsessed with this musical and after watching it 34 times, I stopped counting.
Yes, in between the 'Phantom' I do have many other favourites, and  I am mentioning some of them in my novel.
